This 4-week Gouache Painting Course explores how to create spooky, luminous Halloween scenes with dramatic glow effects. Through guided sessions, participants will learn how to use gouache to paint eerie subjects like candle-lit skulls, glowing jack-o’-lanterns, and haunted still life, focusing on light, shadow, and atmospheric storytelling.

Participants will develop skills in value control, colour mixing for warm and cool light, and specialized brush techniques for soft halos and flickering highlights while working from reference images and seasonal inspirations. By the end of the course, each participant will comple glowing Halloween paintings that capture mood, depth, and narrative.

All materials are provided, including gouache paints, brushes, palettes, and painting paper.
