Make stuff. Get messy. Create your own style.
Get creative, get messy, and make something that’s completely your own! This hands-on 6-week clay program is designed for teens ages 12–17 who want to explore pottery, sculpture, and creative design in a fun and supportive studio environment.
Over six weekly sessions, students will learn a variety of clay techniques while developing their own artistic style. From functional pottery to imaginative sculptures, each class gives students the opportunity to experiment, build skills, and turn their ideas into real clay creations.
What You’ll Learn
Students will explore:
Wheel Throwing — Learn the basics of shaping clay on the pottery wheel.
Handbuilding — Create unique pieces using pinch, coil, and slab techniques.
Sculpting — Turn ideas and imagination into clay creations.
Decorating — Experiment with textures, patterns, shapes, and surface designs.
Glazing — Learn how to add colour and finish pieces for the final firing.
Creative Projects — Design and make projects that reflect your own personality and style.
No Experience Needed
Whether you’re picking up clay for the first time or already love making things, this program is designed for all skill levels. Students will receive guidance and demonstrations while having plenty of freedom to experiment and develop their own ideas.
